This manual is created to set a baseline and standard procedure for conducting various competitions throughout Vidarbha during अंतरिक्ष महा-यात्रा.
Generally, the competitions will be held at places where bus will be stationed for more than a day and the rules applicable at that specific location may vary from the ones outlined below.
Different competitions may be organized at different locations depending upon the availability of infrastructure, manpower etc. and may include but not limited to Quiz, Poster making, Debate, Elocution, Model making, Reels on the Wheels, Rangoli.
MCQ based 20 Questions Time: 10 Min.
Categories
- Competition will be for School students (Std I to XII)
- Group 1 : Std. I to VIII
- Group 2 : Std. IX to X
- Group 3 : Std. XI to XII
Questions will be on: Indian Space program, satellites, Launching scenes, Launch Vehicles, Space station, Indian Space Personalities etc.
Eligibility Criteria: Only (Std. I to XII)students of Schools located in the specific Taluka where bus is stationed at the time
Registration:
- Only Through Online mode: Android Mobile app “ViBhaVid-SoW”
- Last Date of Registration: To be announced by host
- For each Category only 1 team from 1 school
- There will be two participants in each team.
- Quiz will be conducted on date, time and venue announced by the host
Prizes: Certificates, books/gifts
Quiz Rules and Regulations:
- Total 20 questions, each will carry 1 mark
- One question will be displayed on Screen time at a time for 60 seconds, student have to register their answer on the answer sheet given to them
- Questions will be displayed only once
- In the situation of tie-breaker, 5 more questions may be asked
- It will be the responsibility of the school participating to ensure that the participants reach the venue on time
- The participants must carry the required material, tools etc.
- The best possible venue will be made available by the host for the competitions and participants will have to adjust to the available infrastructure

- Group 1: Class 6th to class 8th
- Group 2: Class 9th to Class 12th
Topics: Satellites, Launching scenes, Launch Vehicles, Space station, Indian Space personalities etc.
Eligibility Criteria: Only (Std. I to XII) students of Schools located in the specific Taluka where bus is stationed at the time
Registration:
- Only Through Online mode: Android Mobile app “ViBhaVid-SoW”
- Last Date of Registration: To be announced by host
- For each Category only 1 student from 1 school
- Posters must be submitted on specified date at the venue
- Shortlisted participants will be informed to be present at the venue and present their posters in Marathi, Hindi or English language
Prizes: Certificates, books/gifts
Rules and Regulations
- Size of poster should be A3 or A2 page.
- Should be handmade
– no printouts, no photos to be used on poster.
- Student must write their name, class and school name at back side of the poster.
- Schools can register only one student for each category.
- Criteria for shortlisting
- Meeting the specifications mentioned
- Technical content 40 marks
- Aesthetic sense (drawing quality) 30 marks
- Detailing 30 marks
- Top 10 Shortlisted students will be informed for final round (poster presentation)
- Poster presentation can be done in Marathi, Hindi or English in 3 minutes

Topics: Space missions waste of time & money, Planetary missions – efforts v/s returns (value) etc.

Eligibility Criteria: Only UG and PG students of Colleges Schools located in the specific Taluka where bus is stationed at the time
Registration:
- Online mode Only: Android Mobile app ViBhaVid-SoW
- Last Date of Registration: To be announced by host
- One or two entries per college, 2 members in each team – one to speak in favor one against
Exciting Prizes: Certificates, books/gifts
Rules and Regulations
- Student can use any Marathi, Hindi or English language while debating
- Decorum should be maintained
- No use of foul language or unnecessary raising of voice, aggressive gestures etc.
